OTHER An interview with Seed Magazine Some thoughts on Pauling and peace here Click and type in a question or comment thanks, sincerly Haru Y Dear Mr. Hager I have a book report to do and I decided to do the book report on your book called The Alchemy of Air. i have few questions to ask, such as what was the major thesis for this book. please email me if you can. my email is zinthoszangetsu@gmail.com I'm really enjoying and learning from The Demon Under the Microscope. I'm listening to it on CD--the only time I have for non-professional reading is listening in the car and while walking the dog. So my beef: why isn't The Alchemy of Air available on CD too? Unfortunately there are no plans at present for an audioboook version of "Alchemy." TH Dear Thomas, I was mesmerized by your appearance on Book-TV. Purchasing 'The Alchemy of Air' tomorrow. You are an excellent speaker with a fascinating subject. Looking forward to reading your other works. I could listen to you all day. Sincerely, Bob Nichols Youngstown, Ohio Thanks. Public SpeakingI have delivered keynotes, seminars, lectures, and addresses to a number of public and professional organizations, ranging from the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, to reading groups, medical associations, scientific conferences, health organizations, university classes, civic celebrations, alumni gatherings, and charitable giving efforts. I enjoy speaking about my books and get enthused about my subjects. Science lectures tend to be dry. I try not to be. My media appearances include two outings on C-Span's "BookTV," stories in a number of newspapers and magazines, and interviews on national radio shows including NPR's "Weekend Edition," "Science Friday," "The Diane Rehm Show," and "Talk of the Nation." |
